Dr Kathleen (Kathy) Casey is a Clinical and Health Psychologist, and an approved Medicare, DVA, NDIS, and Therapeutic Support provider. She offers Telehealth consultations (video and phone) across Sydney and rural NSW, with adult clients welcome. Therapeutic homework, reading materials, and other supports are provided as part of each consultation.
Clinical Psychology
Dr Kathy provides therapy for adults experiencing:
- PTSD, Depression, Stress & Anxiety disorders
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Bipolar Disorder
- Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Schizophrenia and drug & alcohol use issues
- Difficulties related to sexual and gender identity
Health Psychology
Dr Kathy supports clients living with acute, chronic, or life-threatening health conditions, including:
- Cancer, Huntington’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis
- Infectious diseases including HIV
- Chronic pain and rehabilitation needs
Her psychological interventions aim to: reduce chronic pain, improve sleep, support healthy eating, assist with treatment adherence, and address emotional reactions to living with illness. Dr Kathy has extensive international and local experience in the psychological aspects of HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health.
Payments & Funding
Medicare bulk billing is available to eligible individuals with a Health Care Card. Dr Kathy also accepts DVA, NDIS, Workers Compensation, and private insurance.
