Dr Myles Kwa graduated from the University of New England’s Joint Medical Program in 2014 with a Bachelor of Medicine with Distinction and received the Australian Medical Association Ltd Prize for the highest overall performance in the Joint Medical Program.

Dr Kwa is a Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (AFRM) and has experience and training in all areas of rehabilitation medicine, including training at the Royal North Shore Hospital Spinal Injury Unit and the Westmead Hospital Brain Injury Unit.

Dr Kwa’s interests include geriatric, neurological, and orthopaedic rehabilitation, and comprehensive spasticity management, including ultrasound-guided botulinum toxin injections. He has research interests in the use of therapeutic exercise and nutritional interventions to prevent and treat sarcopenia and frailty in the elderly.
