Dr Shan Jiang is an Endocrinologist with a special interest is in diabetes management including gestational diabetes.
Dr Shan completed her Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne and her Endocrinology advanced training at Westmead Hospital and Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. She obtained her Master of Philosophy research degree at the University of Sydney with her thesis on the topic of management of diabetes in pregnancy.
Dr Shan has published articles in the Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, as well as presented oral and poster presentations at the Endocrine Society of Australia, Australian Diabetes Society and Australasian Diabetes in Pregnancy Society Annual Scientific Meetings.
Her mottos of practice are respect and empowerment of the patient. Dr Shan is a fluent Chinese mandarin speaker with experience practising in areas of broad ethnic diversity
